i have bitlocker on my drive d, and i just reformat my windows from to 7 to XP.after everything has been changed i tried to check my drive d this is the error... THE DISK IN DRIVE D IS NOT FORMATTED DO YOU WANT TO FORMAT IT NOW? WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO MY FILES STORED IN DRIVE D? CAN I STILL RECOVER THOSE FILES AFTER THE FORMAT? i am now installing unlockers but still getting the same message.

If you can recover your previous Windows install you will be able to get them back. If you don't/can't, the things previously encrypted are lost for good.
