how to fix "failed to get proc address for GetLogcalProcessorInformation(KERNEL32.dll) in downloading skype application

When i launched my skype and log in it says my username and password are not recognized....so i changed password....after i was able to change password,i tried logging in again but failed so i updated my skype application now I'm getting a fatal error: "failed to get proc address for GetLogcalProcessorInformation(KERNEL32.dll)
