how to remove/replace windows 8 and keep some pics/files and where do i take for this?

I have a HP ENVY m6 notebook pc.  it has windows 8 my question is is it possiable to remove this for anything else and keep some of the pics and programs/files that are currently on my sys.? and who do i take it to, to have this done? thank you in advance. Cole

You will want to back up your important files and pics. You always want those store on at least two different devices/media. After you have that backed up, use the utility on the machine to make the factory restore disks just in case you decide to go back at some point. Then you can install whatever you want.
