Diskett drive 0seek failure

What I am getting after taking online backup is a message stating  Diskette drive 0. Seek failure . This happens every time I start computer up then window loads a couple of seconds later the screen turns black showing at bottom F1 or F2 and in centre of screen a message appears saying Diskett drive 0 Seek failure ,can you tell me how I get out of this position,
