My dell desktop will not start,

Tryed to restart lab top and won't turn on.Power light is on but no fan or anything..

Remove the battery, disconnect the AC adapter, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Reinstall the battery, connect the AC adapter, and attempt to power on.
