I have over 2,500 songs on my iTunes and I think I need to uninstall it! It keeps shutting itself down. And i want to try reinstalling it.  How do I do that without losing my songs? I have music from iTunes, CDs, and song files from my computer. Or is there a better way to fix the problem without uninstalling iTunes?

Your not going to lose all your songs. They are on your account. If you uninstall I-tunes and ever want your songs back, reinstall a new I-tunes and log into your account. They will still be in your library.
