I have a 3tb hard drive and my HP Pavilion HPE-250f pc wont detect it as 3tb..it can only detect as 758gb..what will i do?

Historically, drives have been accessed via the MBR - or master boot record. This style of paritioning however is limited to 2TB of size and smaller. For disks larger than 2TB you have to use GPT - GUI Partition ID. See the following for more information:
