My Office 2002 suddenly started to delete 2 messages at a time from my Inbox each time I hit delete.

Is there some setting in Office 2002 that controls how many messages are deleted from my Inbox each time I hit the delete X on my toolbar.  Yesterday all of a sudden each time I delete something, it also deletes the mssage just below the one I want to delete.  Please advise.

I have never encountered that error and cannot begin to guess how this could be happening other than the slim possibility that there is something wrong with the keyboard such that when you press the delete key it essentially bounces, executing the command twice.

If you go to the trash folder of your mail you would be able to recover the messages it deleted wrongly.
