Within each browser, manage add-ons and remove anything regarding Ask, also any plug-ins and manage search engines. Remove any ask references from there.,. Next use Control Panel --> Programs and Features --> and remove anything to do with Ask. Finally, run some anti-spy software:

To remove Adware/Spyware you should do the following:

Run the free version of two of the following: Spybot Search & Destroy, Adaware anti-spy, SuperAntiSpyware, AdwCleaner.

Next install and run malwarebytes free version.

Now, run one of the following:
CCleaner, Glary Utilities, Tweaking.com Windows All In One tool
