without my knowledge search engine search-india.net has been installed.how to remove it

Search-india.net has got into my browser without my knowledge.I understand it is

harmful and to be removed.I am unable to remove it.Pl advise how to remove it from

my system.

if youre using google chrome as browser  - go to options - select basics tab - default search - click manage button - select the search -india - click remove - select google.com - click make default .. u can also remove it on starting up your google chrome browser ,, u can see it n the options menu  

~ i think this goes the same with other browsers , try it on its settngs
