ramesh needs help

Question

Ramesh and Suresh have same no. of apples which they want to sell.Ramesh decided the price as 2 apples for a rupee and Suresh 3 apples for a rupee but due to some urgent work Suresh gave all his apples to Ramesh to sell.Ramesh mixed all the apples and sold them at the rate of 5 apples for two rupees.Next day they decided to share the money equally but were surprised to find that they were short of 7 rupees.If they shared the money equally can you tell the profit/loss incurred by them and how?explain your answer in detail.
