my laptop is not connecting to wifi,it is showing as Limited.What might be the reason

Could be a lot of things. Your laptop's wifi card might not have very good signal, you might not be close enough to the router, router might not be sending a strong signal etc. Try moving the laptop right next to the router and see if the signal strength changes. That will tell you if the issue has to do with your router/laptop reception and signal.
