my wii will not power up at all, after working perfectly yesterday?

my wii just suddenly went off yesterday.  now will not power up at all. no one or nothing had touched it, but we did have a storm, however, it is hooked to the tv and the tv is fine? ideas?

It is quite likely that the powre supply of the Wii was damaged. You probably need to replace it.
