how ca i fix a black screen on my acer 5542 please kindly send me the procedure

please answer this question :

how can i fix a aspire acer 5542  black screen ,, there is a sound on the driver but no view on the monitor totaly black  how can i fix i try already removing the ram and swap iti but still no screen  i open the monitor but cant find the inverter ...i wasn't able to check  on  the other   monitor by using the vga cable  bec i dont have that  equipment  the battery on the mother board  is it possible also?
