Why can people not hear me?

When I call someone they can't hear me but I can hear them fine.When I tried putting it on speaker they still can't hear me.They call me and I can hear them but they still can't hear me!I'm so frustrated.I have job apps on here.I need it working A.s.a.p.!Please answer.Help me.
