I Want to know if hp xw6600 motherboard with 2x quad 3.0ghz will support the new Xeon CPU X5690 3.47GHz, is it possible?

Please, can i upgrade my xw660 2x quad Xeon 3.0ghz cpu to  Intel Xeon CPU X5690 3.47GHz hex core?, is it possible?

Your motherboard has the LGA771 socket.

The Xeon X5690 uses the socket 1366 so they are physically incompatible.
