my pc is getting slow

i am using c2d intel g33 2.4GH from last 3 years but now my system is slowdown & not properly working plz help me how improve my pc performance?

Are you using windows 7?  I always turn off all of the graphics features and it makes the system run much better.  Just type "performance into your windows 7 search bar and you will get a list of performance tools.  Those should help.
