how can i do a hard reset on a asus Eee Pad Slide 101?

I have a asus Eee pad slide 101 that someone has set a pass word to enter the tablet and i have no idea what it is. will a hard reset do the job?

That teardown photo , very clearly, tells what's inside the BlackBerry. Here i get a handful of components, from Chinese manufactuers. Here we have batteries, tiny circuit like fpc(http://product.xindabest.com), memory card, some little chips.i am quite familiar with these. well, Blackberry improves a lot for this playbook.
