earphone is not working to on/off music player

Hi, i just bought a lenovo s820. the problem is i can't play music (on/off) using my earphone. if the wifi is not connected, pressing the button will show you a message saying "try again when you're online" but when the phone is connected to wifi the earphone is not working at all. thanks to to respond on this.
