How to delete recent calls on background screen

New update now pits recent calls in a bubble on background screen...the screen U click bottom button twice to display...shows recent activities and features U opened last

Go to settings

Scroll to "mail, contacts, calendars"

then scroll to "show in app switcher"

Then turn off Recents..

And now they're gone!!
