how to do a reboot on my HP mini lap top

Question

My HP mini is acting up it will not let me open any files, etc. Without me having to right click and choose open. It also will not let me access my internet explorer the most I get is a quick flash of the of the explorer screen and it closes. I've been able to access the internet explorer screen by opening it threw my Facebook icon but it freezes before the search bar can respond. Its also no longer letting me create a new user account for my HP threw my control panel, n it's also starting to freeze up and not respond to the task manager when using ( End now). I have to completely shut down my HP to unfreeze it.
