Aver aspire one net book shut off. Will not turn on or reboot

My acre Aspire one netbook was running  low on battery so I plugged it in. Once I did that the whole net book shut down and will not turn on or reboot. Thoughts of what may have happened?

Will I need to take it in prosit possibly a simple fix. Outruns very hot on battery power.  Thank you for your help
