how to stop facebook message come up in emails

My facebook messages comes up in my emails. How can I stop it.?

Hello,

Go to your FB  page.

Where it says "activity log" click  the arrow at the end and then click "timeline and settings"

On the left of that window click on "apps"

There you'll see the games you play...Near whichever ones you want to stop the emails from click "edit" and there you'll see what to do. Some applications won't allow you to use them if you don't allow them to contact you. Some will.

Also to the left above "apps" you'll see "notifications, click on that "  look where you see "emails" you can stop them from there also. If you need to see all you've authorized click where it says "see more' and the rest of the list should come up.

Another solution is to go into your email, click on them and mark them as spam so that they do into your spam and not inbox folder.

I keep receiving unwanted mail from too many people.  I just fills up my mail box. I don't like. All I want to receive is my friends mail.
