my cyclone astro+ tablet turns off when charger is pulled out but works when plugged in can anyone help

i have a sumvision cyclone astro+ 7 inch tablet i bought it about a year and half ago, i decided to take it out of the box and have a look at it, it is now fully charged but when i pull the charger out it dont work but if the charger is in it comes on fine.The very first time i had it i charged it and it worked fine, then i put it away in all the padding it came in took it out today charged it up fine took charger out and it wont come on. can anyone help?
