can't send emails from hotmail or gmail. Help me pls

I have an Acer Aspire 3690 laptop, 1 minute my emails were being sent out with no problems, then all of a sudden i got replies saying postmaster can't send, email failed to send. I'm not very technical so i haven't a clue how to put it right. Can you pls give me some advice.
