Are you comfortable working on your computer? If not, have a frined who is come over. Failing that, you will probably need to take it in for service.

Does it do anything when you push the power button?
Did you check to make sure the power strip is on and properly providing power?
Is the power strip plugged in to the wall?

When you turn it on, if the power supply doesn't do anything, then that may be the cause., Normally the fan in the power supply should start spinning when you power on and it should do that even if the motherboard was dead. Same for the hard drive. If you don't hear it spinning up when you hit the power button then you are experiencing a power supply failure.
