  2. I keep getting directed to a BT WiFi connection service (must pay of course)
  3. Do I need to return to factory settings to rectify the problem.
  4. Lost the will to live!!!

I am connected to WI-FiI and have made numerous attempts to register my new device.  I get a registration error:  "Unable to connect to Amazon.  Please verify the WI-FI status and device date and time. then try again."  Have done this numerous times with no success.  Please advise how to proceed.
