What is the make and model of the computer?

If it is a laptop, disconnect the battery and AC adapter and then find the coin cell battery attached to the motherboard - this is sometimes found in the same comparatment as the RAM sticks but further disassembly may be required. Pull that battery and leave it cold for 15 minutes. Re-assemble,. connect regular battery and power, attempt to turn on. If that fails I suggest contacting the mfg.
